Perkumpulan EKOMARIN memiliki misi-misi sebagai berikut :

  • Melakukan pemberdayaan terhadap masyarakat yang terkait dengan sumber daya pesisir, kepulauan dan kelautan
  • Mendorong tata kelola pengelolaan sumber daya kelautan, kepulauan dan perikanan berbasis mitigasi dan adaptasi perubahan iklim serta pengurangan resiko bencana yang adil dan lestari untuk mencapai kesejahteraan rakyat.
  • Melakukan penelitian dan pengelolaan pengetahuan terkait kondisi sumber daya alam kepulauan, kelautan, pesisir, dan perikanan termasuk iklim
  • Advokasi kebijakan untuk pengelolaan sumber daya alam – kelautan dan kepulauan yang adil dan bijaksana
  • Mendekatkan akses terhadap keadilan bagi masyarakat yang terkait sumber daya pesisir dan pulau-pulau kecil.
